We left this track and walked for 500m on private dry land. We even walked through a meadow of stinging nettles. It's not an unpleasant sensation when your legs have 20 or 40 stings. It's sort of tingly.
The barb wire fence exit was tricky though. The middle of the day was quiet farm roads with silage smell everywhere. They use tractors to mound it all. We crossed the main North South rail line and then a six lane A Road.
Our B&B host greeted us with scones and cream and our lunch pack had Yorkshire Parkin
